Planning Nereus floor heating
|
Nereus has its own floor heating planners who guarantee a well-functioning Nereus floor heating system of good quality People trust Nereus´ experience as Nereus Oy has earned its position as a strong and reliable pioneer as a planner and constructor of water floor heating systems. Nereus provides planning, products and professional installation of floor heating on a turnkey basis. A floor heating plan implemented for each customer by Nereus Oy´s own planners and installation by authorised Nereus technicians guarantee the most economically advantageous heating system.
In water floor heating, the entire floor surface acts as a transferor of heat, meaning that the required heat efficiency per floor square metre is small. Heat rises from the floor with the movements of air by convection as well as by means of direct radiation. These two methods of heat transmission together move the heat into the entire room and other surfaces. Planning a Nereus floor heating systems starts with surveying the heating requirements. This is important, as the required efficiency may vary largely between rooms because of different window sizes, for example. Such differences affect the tubing of the rooms: tubes are laid more densely in rooms that require more efficiency. In the largest rooms, several tube circuits can also be used, whereby tubes are laid more densely in the circuit reaching the front of windows and reaching near to the walls. This way, no draught is created. The distance between tubes is usually 75 or 150 mm in the edge areas, while a 300-mm distance is used in the central areas. In bathrooms and other wet rooms, the efficiency is calculated as 7080 W/m2, leading to an indoor temperature of + 24ºC. Heating of wet rooms should be carried out with a separate shunt circuit in order to keep them warm also in the summer when heating is otherwise switched off. A completed plan always includes heat loss calculations, circuit-specific control values and flow rate and preset control values of the manifolds. In addition, floor heating drawings are prepared using a modern CAD application. Authorised Nereus technicians install the tubing on site based on these drawings. Copies are also delivered to the end customer. |
